Dallas College Dental Hygiene Clinic
FreecleaningFree cleanings, X-rays, exams, deep cleanings, fluoride and sealants. Adults have a screening visit first. Visits last 4 hours, and most people need more than one. Open about 8 months of the year. No fillings, extractions or emergency care.

Will they take me?
Open to the public, adults and children. Adults have a screening visit first to see if they can be matched with a student. Patients under 18 skip the screening. Students do the work and licensed hygienists and dentists check every step. Patients are chosen for what students need to learn.
- Adults 18 and over have a screening visit to see if they can be assigned to a student
- Bring your completed new patient forms (health history, policies, clinic forms)
- Bring a list of all your medicines and doses
- You must agree to X-rays, or bring recent X-rays from your dentist
- You may need a note from your doctor before treatment
- Children under 18 must be with a parent or guardian in the waiting room
- Children under 3 may be sent to a children's dentist
- Confirm your appointment ahead of time or it may go to someone else
- Give 48 hours' notice to change or cancel
- Patients who are often late, leave early or miss visits get cancellation-only appointments

Being a patient does not mean you will get ongoing care. Patients are taken based on what students need to learn.

Everything is free. You get a list of other low-cost clinics if you need care the students cannot do. A cleaning here does not replace visits to a dentist.
