Dental School Clinics

How we check listings

We start from the official list of accredited dental hygiene and dental school programs, then find each program's patient clinic on the school's own website. Every fact on a listing is read from those pages and the documents they link to (fee sheets, patient handbooks, clinic calendars), not from other directories, reviews or search results. Each listing links to the pages we used and shows the date we last checked them.

Prices are shown exactly as the clinic publishes them. When we compare clinics, we use each clinic's standard adult price for a cleaning, or for the first visit when it publishes no cleaning price. Lower prices for children, seniors or students are listed on the clinic's page.

When two of a school's pages disagree, for example a clinic page and an older fee sheet, we go with the clinic's own page first, then its fee sheet or handbook, then other school pages, and the newest dated one among equals.

If a clinic doesn't say something, like its summer hours, we leave it out and tell you to call. The "when it's open" strip only shows what the clinic itself says about each term. A listing leaves search results if it hasn't been re-checked within 120 days.

We never give dental advice, and we never rank clinics by quality: the list is ordered by price.
