FreecleaningFree X-rays, cleanings and temporary fillings by dental hygiene students. A dentist screens everyone first, and you are seen only if your case fits the students' training. Space is limited. Closed in January, June, July and August.

Will they take me?
Open to people from on and off campus. A licensed dentist screens every patient before treatment, and services are only for patients whose needs fit the students' training.

- Tell the student and instructor about any change in your health, medicines or allergies
- X-rays are needed; cleaning is not done without them
How to get in
Contact the Dental Hygiene program at 310-287-4464 or dentalhygiene@wlac.edu to ask about a visit. If the clinic is full, you may be asked to come back on another day.

- Scaling and root planing (deep cleaning)
- Ultrasonic scaling
- Local anesthesia
- Nitrous oxide sedation
- Local antibiotic placement (e.g. Arestin)
- Pit and fissure sealants
