FreecleaningFree cleanings by dental hygiene students. Your first visit is a free screening; then you come back for care. Each visit can take 2 to 3.5 hours. No fillings or surgery. Closed January, June, July, August and late December.

When it's open
Fall: Monday 8am to noon; Tuesday 8am to noon and 1pm to 5pm; Friday 8am to noon. Spring: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to noon and 1pm to 5pm; Friday 8am to noon.
Open in fall (early September to mid-December) and spring (early February to mid-May). Closed on holidays and in January, June, July, August and late December.
Will they take me?
Adults and children are seen. The first visit is a screening to see what you need and how many visits it will take. Children under 3 may be sent to a children's dentist instead.
- A parent or legal guardian must stay in the clinic for the whole visit of a child
- Children under 3 may be referred to a children's dentist
- X-rays may be ordered at the screening if needed

Paying
No fees, so no insurance, billing or card payments.
What they do
- All services California law allows licensed dental hygienists to do
- Medical and dental history and a short mouth exam at screening
- X-rays when needed
- Care for children with a parent or guardian present
- No fillings, oral surgery or orthodontics; you are referred to a private dentist for those
